Trama del film Train de vie - un treno per vivere. Nel 1941, per evitare la deportazione, gli abitanti di un piccolo villaggio ebreo della Romania allestiscono un finto convoglio ferroviario sul quale alcuni di loro sono travestiti da soldati tedeschi e partono nel folle tentativo di raggiungere il confine con l'URSS e di lì proseguire per la Palestina, Eretz/Israel, la terra promessa.
